Dr. Rum Mawjee
Caring, friendly, and efficient are just three words Dr. Mawjee would use to describe a typical visit to City Square Dental.
"I want every person to have a sense of belonging," says Dr. Mawjee. "I want them to feel secure and well cared for. I want all
of our patients to feel so positive about our practice that they would be comfortable referring their family and friends."
Dr. Mawjee gives a lot of credit to his staff for the friendly and secure atmosphere at the practice. "The people working here are
our most important feature," he says. "We are willing to go the extra mile to ensure that our patients have a great experience.
We take the time to explain treatment, to reassure our nervous patients, and to treat them like a member of our family-which they are."
Dr. Michelle Tao
High school in North Delta, dental training at UBC; Dr. Tao is a genuine B.C. product. As someone who enjoys technically challenging work and
who loves working with people, she was a natural to become a dentist. It also explains why she particularly enjoys performing restorative
procedures; they allow her to use her considerable artistic and technical skills to make a significant, lasting difference in her patients' lives.
Dr. Tao has a very patient-centered philosophy of dental care, one that focuses on treating the whole patient, not just the teeth. "I'm a people
person and genuinely enjoy interacting with others," she says. "And I want all my patients to feel they have received the best care in a friendly
environment."
Dr. Tao is an animal lover and outdoor sports enthusiast who enjoys rollerblading, volleyball and going for walks with her family.
